Clicky Leaks Development Roadmap: What We’re Building Next

Here’s a sneak peek at upcoming features and ideas we’re exploring for Clicky Leaks — from new traffic signals to domain tracking and beyond.

We built Clicky Leaks to do one thing really well:

> Help you find expired domain names that still get real traffic — especially from forgotten YouTube links.

And it works. Our system runs every day, surfacing domains still linked in videos and flagging the ones that are expired, available, and potentially valuable.

But this is just the beginning.

In this post, we want to share a few of the ideas we’re exploring for the future of Clicky Leaks. Some are already in progress — others are experiments we’d love your feedback on.

🧭 What’s Working Today

Before we talk about what’s next, here’s what Clicky Leaks already does:

  • Scans thousands of YouTube video descriptions daily
  • Extracts external links from real video content
  • Checks if domains are expired + available
  • Flags promising ones and displays them with video context
  • Updates constantly — new finds every day

    ---

🚀 Ideas We’re Exploring for the Future

🧠 1. Domain “Traffic Score” System

Not all expired domains are equal.

We want to assign a simple score to each one based on:
  • Video view count
  • Age of the video
  • Link position (top of description vs. buried)
  • Whether the domain has been mentioned elsewhere

This would help you sort by the most likely high-traffic opportunities — instantly.

    ---

    🔄 2. Real-Time “Drop Catch” Monitor

Imagine a live feed of domains that just expired today — and were still getting traffic as of this morning.

    We're testing ways to:

  • Detect new expirations within minutes
  • Prioritize ones that were just clicked on
  • Give you a short window to register before others do

    ---

    📈 3. Historical Link Graph

We want to let you see where else a domain has ever been linked from:

  • Reddit threads
  • Blog posts
  • Forum mentions
  • Twitter/X

This would turn Clicky Leaks into a kind of “Click Trail Explorer” — helping you spot why a domain still gets traffic (and whether it’s worth chasing).

    ---

    📬 4. Watchlist + Notifications

    You’ll be able to:

  • Bookmark domains to watch
  • Get notified if someone else registers it
  • Get updates if the video it's in starts trending again

This is especially useful for domains that might still be available in a week or two — but you're not ready to grab just yet.

    ---

🔒 5. Tiered Subscriptions with Filtering

Right now, everyone sees the same feed — but we’re planning to add:

  • Search by niche (crypto, fitness, SaaS, etc.)
  • View count filtering (only show domains from videos with 10K+ views)
  • Traffic score sorting (see #1)
  • Export to CSV for your own workflows

We’ll keep a free tier, but paid users will get faster access to fresh finds and deeper sorting tools.

    ---

    🧪 6. Click Hijack Templates

Once you’ve found a traffic-leaking domain, what do you do with it?

We’re working on lightweight “Click Hijack” landing page templates you can deploy in seconds — tailored for:

  • Affiliate redirects
  • Lead capture
  • Pre-sell pages
  • Link cloaking

No need for hosting or code — just redirect the domain and pick a template.

    ---

    📣 We Want Your Feedback

Every feature we build starts with the same question:

> Would this actually help someone find or use an expired domain with traffic faster?

If there’s a tool, filter, or idea you want to see in Clicky Leaks — come tell us.

Thanks for Using Clicky Leaks 🙏

This project started as a traffic-hunting experiment. It’s now helping marketers, flippers, and SEOs uncover forgotten value every day — and we’re just getting started.

Thanks for being part of it.
